Pursuant to a decision by Policymaking Council of Farabi International Award, an independent scientific group called “Islamic Revolution and Imam Khomeini” has been launched in the 4th edition of the Award. Based on a report by Secretariat of Farabi International Award, the Policymaking Council of the Award held its 13th session on March 3, 2010 and approved establishment of the aforesaid scientific group. “Islamic Revolution and Imam Khomeini” Group had been temporarily established in the 2nd edition of the Award which marked the 30th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. Following the above position, it will be an active group of the Award and Farabi International Award will have 12 active scientific groups.
